Welcome students, teachers, and family. I can't believe that we are finally here! Going into high school is going to be tough and challenging but you always have to remember to keep your head up even through the toughest times. Other than keeping your head up at all times you need to also have a positive attitude and dream. There is no such thing as dreaming too big nor too small! My years at Golf have it's good parts and it's bad parts. Math was the worst part of my years at Golf and still is. I'm most positive that most of my teachers are aware of the many things I do not like to do but let me be more specific I'm talking about Mr. Carro now. (the real deal) I will sing and dance if I have to the fact that I am no genius when it comes to math. It's okay to not be a genius in math or any other subjects but you always need to use your head! "Follow your heart but take your brain with you." I have been following my heart for the past 13 years of my life and have been playing my favorite sport of all time soccer for 9 years. I plan on playing my whole life! This year we did not win the little 9 tourney(sorry Ms. Hueburger) but I am so blessed to have experienced being captain of such a unique and kind team. For soccer each pair of 8th graders got one 7th grade little sister. This whole process was meant to define the responsibility of having to watch over your team and care for them. All 7th graders are  my sisters whether I picked your name out of a hat or not but I'm sorry newsflash I love all you 7th graders the same way and I'm so excited for you to go into 8th grade! My teachers are the people that constantly made sure I was doing good so that I was able to play in my games  and I thank you all. Mr. Atwood (gotta love him) is another person I will dearly miss. Throughout my 8th grade year my name went from being "Andrea" to "Aguirre." Not to sure why this was done but I like my last name better. It's the little things you do that makes someones day or even year feel special. Well you should feel special too 8th graders we are graduating in 2 weeks. I wish you all the best future vikings and congratulations to the class of 2017.
